The Banco di Napoli Foundation promotes community enrichment through its workshops, theatre productions and many other initiatives. That is why it has opened its doors to cultural events, professional courses, conventions and debates, while also teaming up with other associations aiming to improve some aspect of the local community.
From providing funding for microcredit operations and family initiatives to granting scholarships and theater passes for students, the Foundation attempts to create a virtuous circle which can improve individual and community circumstances by working with institutions, associations, universities and many other entities which operate within the social fabric.
It is from within this philanthropic frame of reference that the crowdfunding platform called ‘Meridonare’ was created. The platform was instituted to help promote the projects focusing on the city of Naples and all of southern Italy to reach their fundraising goals, therefore allowing them to complete their projects.
