April 7th and 8th 2016
at the Historical Archives of the Banco di Napoli
On April 7 th and 8 th , 2016 there will be a seminar entitled “The Historical Banking Archives: Document types, researcher profiles, and consultation tools” at the Foundation headquarters
The event, organized by the Associazione Nazionale Archivistica Italiana (National Association of Italian Archival Science) together with the Banco di Napoli Historical Archives, aims to compare
and contrast historical bank archives.
The central themes of the study sessions are: producers, the types of documents, the criteria underlying the historical inventories and the principles at the base of modern research tools, and
the choices which render the hierarchical structure of archives so complex. During the seminar, there will be a simulation of research on the writings of our Historical Archives, as well as a visit to the multimedia museum, ilCartastorie.
The event is free thanks to the contribution of the Foundation, and is reserved for ANAI members. The deadline for registration is April 5, 2016.
